Over the last 10+ years I've written, refactored, and shipped plugins that today power thousands of sites. My WordPress background

I've been writing WordPress plugins for 10+ years. Started by building tools to scratch my own itch, then turned that into a full-time discipline at Cool Plugins. Across that time we've shipped plugins now installed on hundreds of thousands of WordPress sites — every release goes through my hands at some point.

My focus has always been the boring details that make a plugin actually trustworthy: tight code, clean upgrades, predictable behaviour, and zero conflicts with the rest of the WordPress ecosystem.

How I run the code team

At TranslateXYZ I lead the engineering team — I own the codebase, set the architecture, review pull requests, and make sure every release is tested against real Polylang, WPML, TranslatePress, and Loco Translate setups before it ever hits a customer site.

On a typical week I'm bouncing between writing the AI provider integrations, reviewing the team's code, hunting down the rare edge case from a support ticket, and shipping the next stable update. The mission is simple: every plugin we release has to be fast, secure, and never break someone's site.
